H: How would you describe your style?
sentences that go: a clause, a clause, and don’t forget the oxford comma. third person, always. not so great with flowery description so kind of no nonsense and straight to the point. messing around with POV. thinks its cleverer than it is.
or, i used to be able to write short one shots and now every fic turns into a monster.
M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?
well, it’s on the front burner because i’m writing it right now, but i have approx. 20k of a wayhaught fic going at the moment. premise is straight from the first couple of sentences:
Waverly tells Nicole she’s leaving ten days after they watch Perry take Alice away, and the only thing she can think to say is, “Where are we going?”
“No, I mean—” Waverly’s eyes are wet, and Nicole doesn’t understand what’s happening.
“I’m leaving.”
