Los Angeles, I'm giving a concert on Friday, Feb. 19th! (Please note that this event has been rescheduled and is no longer on Feb. 5th.) I'm very excited to perform in my home city. This benefit concert is at 9pm and will be at the gorgeous Big Art Church in Hollywood. It's a large space with fantastic acoustics, and there is plenty of room for everyone so please invite your friends. We'll be celebrating that mysterious art of FLOW and bringing community love to our friend before she heads into surgery. This event and concert is going to be very heartfelt and the crowd is going to be creative, fun and fantastic, so we hope to see you there. This is an all-ages event so your children are welcome. I recently received this message from a woman who is dealing with multiple serious illnesses in her family, sharing how my music is helping their healing process. She sent me this beautiful note: "Christen, my grandmother has been in hospital for the past 10 days and I have been back and forth to visit her. Today I showed her your TEDxBoulder talk and she was totally mesmerized and had tears in her eyes. She was transfixed by everything about you - your expressions, your clothes, your movement and of course your incredible music. Thank you for helping with her healing process." For anyone who is dealing with #illness and #dark days in your life or with your loved ones, please remember that #music can play a huge role in the #healing process.
