@ Fifty Shades of Grey haters

Yes, I understand you find Fifty Shades of Grey absolutely horrific and awful, but I'm sick of seeing posts everywhere I go about, "Oh, it's teaching young girls that this is romance, but it's trash." and "This is a sick story.". A bunch of things like that. I am sick, let me repeat, SO FUCKING SICK, of seeing those EVERYWHERE. FUCKING EVERYWHERE. I respect everyone's opinion on the matter, but I honestly don't give a shit about how you feel about Fifty Shades of Grey. I am neutral on the matter of Fifty Shades of Grey, so I choose the neutral things to say. Now, let me bring a few things to everyone's attention, and no, I am not 'defending' Fifty Shades of Grey. When you say that Fifty Shades of Grey is absolute trash and defaces women, that is insulting some people out there in this large expanse of land called Earth. Fifty Shades of Grey focuses on a kink that Christian Grey likes, contracting a dominant and submissive relationship. Some people actually do like that kink, males and females alike. I feel that when you say it defaces women, your calling the people in the book less than people; trash. And that means you are indirectly calling other people in this world, who actually like the dom/sub kink, trash. And that leads up to thinking, they are lesser than everyone else and do not deserve to exist. Now, that's really rude. I know that's not what you are thinking when you say Fifty Shades of Grey is trash and sucks and defaces women, but that's saying that the way the people are in the book is disgusting and fucked up, and some people do live like that, and you are insulting the life they chose. Do you control what people think? Do you seriously have the audacity to place yourself above everyone else, just to unintentionally bully them? That's sadistic. And when you say it's 'teaching young girls that it's romance', are you fucking kidding me? A reader is still a person, a person who thinks their own way. Those thoughts are cultivated through lifestyle and if someone thinks it's romance, it's what they think. So what if it's not what you think? Are you someone trying to fucking convert and force others to think what you think? And also, have you actually read the book? If you're saying yes and it's definitely not romance, let me bring another something up. The book does have romance. It's a stressed type of tension trying to slowly build up. Although Christian Grey likes the earlier mentioned kink, he feels different about Anastasia, the main character. (Spoiler warning) Anastasia does fall in love with Christian, and Christian may also have feelings for her, but is unable to grasp them right, due to how he grew up(I've only read the first book, so I'm not sure what happens in the others, forgive me if I do not know further). Okay, so you don't like that idea? Too much sex? People have sex a lot, it's in our nature. If another reason why the book bugs you is because of the constant sex, then you really don't understand society today. I understand that not everyone has sex and that's fine, but others do like to have a lot of sex, whether they are a prostitute or not. And you know what? It's what they chose to do. Think about the storyline of Fifty Shades of Grey, and what if it was a different problem. What if instead of the problem being the dom/sub kink, Christian was a serial killer? What if Anastasia had fallen in love with the murderer, and the murderer developed feelings for her but due to his state of mind, A.K.A. insanity, he couldn't recognize these feelings. This is basically the same as the actual conflict, but the original conflict is safer than falling in love with a murderer, since murderers kill people (I apologize if you are in love and dating or married to a current murderer or retired murderer). The writer just decided to focus on a kink instead of anything else. And you know what? If you don't like it, okay, you don't like it. But don't go saying stuff that might offend anyone. What if I said shows like NCIS were just awful because although they don't give out the names of victims, they are still publicizing personal things that have happened and that's just messed up? (I do not feel this way about any law and crime shows, especially since that's all my mom and step-dad ever watch). Some of you may argue and say that's not true... but hey, it all depends on how someone's mind is set up and how they think. Now, I apologize for my rant. I'm just extremely tired and sick of seeing people go on about a book... seriously, it's JUST A BOOK. Don't take such trivial things so seriously. I repeat from earlier, I am not defending Fifty Shades of Grey. I am merely explaining the reasons why you are all overreacting. Honestly, grow up. Hate me if you want, it doesn't matter.
