it was often quite adventurous whenever lili strolled down the main street with her son as he got easily distracted by the various shops and lights, still asking what some words meant which proved quite difficult when he asked about the ones that weren’t meant for his innocent mind yet. thankfully this time javi didn’t however he did tug on her hand to make her stop in front of the huge window of the pastry place, pointing at one of the very colorful cakes which she assumed was a rainbow cake. “mama, mira!”, he glanced up at her with a pout on his adorable face. “can we buy one? please?”
lili reached over to adjust the wool hat on his head, crouching down a little over to be on the same eye level as him. “mi hijo, remember what i said when you eat too much cake?”, she gently spoke up, flashing him a smile, “if you eat too many cakes, we will have to visit the dentist again. besides you already had a slice of the chocolate cake from yesterday that mama brought from work.” she didn’t noticed a familiar face heading their way as she kept her gaze on javi who was still pouting and now crossing his arms. “but.. por favor? i promise to be a good boy and brush my teeth afterwards!”
