Sensory Bin - Fun Farm
S and F's Granny has a fantastic knack for spotting these brilliant treasures at the local Sunday bazaar flea thrift stores. Her skills are invaluable because the kind of toys at the thrift store simply aren't available in Islamabad's toy stores, which are simply, chock-a-block full of low quality Chinese stuff emblazoned with Hannah Montana and Angry Birds logos. Recently, Granny brought F this magnetic farm house with hinged flaps. Each door houses a different animal, who can be magnetically attached to the "walls" of his room (and board - teehee). I used them to create this super simple On the Farm sensory bin for the kids to enjoy at home.
