Last voice mail before dying
So much blood. It’s everywhere. He wonders how he’s still breathing. He knows he is, because it hurts, each time he does. He’s also aware he won’t be for much longer. That’s okay — he killed what killed him too, it’s an even draw, and nobody is going to get hurt now.
Hitting on the phone, dealing the right numbers is hard, his vision gets blurry and he loses feeling in his fingers as cold creeps up in him. He wonders if he’ll manage long enough to hear her again. That’s all. He just wants to hear her voice as the last thing, instead of his own, sharp breaths.

He would laugh if he had the energy to do so, but he’s just letting his head fall against the wall behind him, holding onto the phone more than to dear life.

He makes a break because breathing is hard, and talking drains him. He feels so sleepy. So sleepy. He would just need to close his eyes. Soon.

The dead signal showed that nothing else would be recorded, and he puts up a faint, painful smile as the phone slips on the floor.

"You’re going to run…” She said between hitches of her breath. He had a reputation to uphold, sure, but she couldn’t figure out why he’d want to hold on to that tradition. He’d promised he’d stay, be with her, choose her over the instinct ingrained in his very bones. Thick tears threatened to break over pale skin as she shook her head, pain and sadness bubbling up and over until she could contain it no longer. She’s faltering; strong, confident Letha is crumbling at his feet, begging for the one thing; the one person that lit a flame in her, had her heart calling for full moons and the clearest of skies not to leave her in this god forsaken town. ”Don’t- Take me with you, please.”

The words linger on his tongue, ghosting in his mind. So many things they would call for, right? Two simple words that would say everything and nothing. I can't stay here. This place is killing him, trapping him in wide spaces, eating his heart and ripping him apart, tearing him inside out. It's killing him, and he stayed here already so much longer than he would under any normal circumstances, because of her.
He doesn't want to leave her. He needs her. He needs her, needs her like air, but he needs his freedom, too. He thought he could stay, he thought he could leave this for her. He can't.
" — Letha."
Don't do this. Don't — His voice is crumbling, just like her confidence. She can break him, just as easily as breaking a thin branch, and she knows that.
"You have a family here."
That sounds so hollow, like such an excuse, so fucking empty.

It is late,
She has almost drifted to sleep near him, and he would more than happily just lay down back next to her, keeping the illusion of normality, of simple things up. He would happily shove everything extraordinary of him if for her, but it's part of him, defining him, and also, he needs to deal in other to protect her.
Or, simply, for putting a smile up to her face, and he just gets an idea with that. Restless as he feels already, unable to relax, and the night is just too nice to get wasted.

It's soft, though. If she is already asleep, he will not wake her. Might slip out for a bit to get rid of that energy that decided late at night was the perfect time to crawl up into his veins before climbing back in with her, but waking her? That seems like a task close to blasphemy. If he gave a damn about basphemy, that was.

Who cooks:
Quite near the start of their relationship, he tried cooking once. Once. It's edible, but she still very silently took the utensils from him and told him that the thought was nice, but anything a bit more complicated he should rather leave alone. He agrees very much with that.
Who does the laundry and other chores:
Most of them seem utterly useless to Peter, and therefore sees no use in doing them, but then she uses that look and just gets very, very calm and he finds himself doing it anyway.
How many children do they have:
sobs about it Probably a lot. He very much likes the idea of children, and he very much likes the idea of a pregnant Letha, and she thinks he makes a far better father than he would consider himself, and lights up whenever she sees him with children. Even though I can see her just putting a stop to it after four or so.
Who’s more dominate:
If something needs to be done, Letha. She can be very, very persuasive. In playful fights, however, he clearly has an advantage.
Favorite nonsexual activity:
Peter likes to tell her stories, favorable with her head against his shoulder, one arm around her. Or playing with her hair. He really has a thing for her hair.
Their favorite place to be together:
One time, he just decided to take her outside in one clear night, by the riverside of a nearby lake, and tried to catch her a fairy. He didn't get one, but she laughed a lot, and that stayed one of their both favorite memories. They sometimes still come there, but they never again got to see the fairies again. Letha told him he scared them. He grinned at her.
Any traditions:
Not really a tradition, but when he doesn't want to continue a conversation, he just starts to kiss all over her shoulder, and she usually hits him playfully in return, laughing.

Ships.

Small things. He usually steals brings her small gifts, something that reminded him of her (that flower has the color of your eyes), she likes to leave trails for him to follow.

Roadtrip, much rather than something fancy. He wanted to show her the world, and also, all those nice private places all over. All of them.
Where did they first meet:
I'm no fun and stay with canon.
Any pets:
After learning about his nature, Letha thought it was funny to bring a puppy. He was afraid he might eat it. They still have it. She named it Daisy. For whatever reason.
What do they fight over:
Everything. Literally everything. Mostly not really seriously, nothing that isn't forgotten the next morning. The thing that sets her up the most is him getting himself (and Roman) into danger, and he gets angry with her when she gets too close near the full moon because he's afraid of hurting her.
Do they go on vacations, if so where:
Wherever the car takes them, and however far they get with what's in the tank.
