Growing up in the Kwon family was never easy for her, specially since the boys got the get out of jail free card and were able to do anything that practically wanted. While she had to do the what 'traditional' girls back in Korea would do. Her mother and grand mother were very strict on her, Skyla didn't have a chance to know what it really felt like to be free. She was always a trapped bird in her family. When her brothers started up the gang just to make more money for the family. Skyla took the neutral route and only did what she was told. She went to school, got good grades and well stayed out of trouble. If it wasn't for her over protective and childish brothers you won't guess she was a Kwon. At school she was Skyla Kwon the quiet baby face sister of the Kwon brothers, nerdy and to herself. At home she was Jieun, the obedient daughter of the Kwon family. Skyla has always lived under some kind of label, now she thinks about going to college and getting out of K-Town, she has to figure out a way to break it to her family -- and to her mother and grandmother who believe a women's only job is to her family.
