What. Has. Life. Become????
When will people realize that Plan B isn't the only birth control that's involved in this ruling?
IUD's. My friend keeps stressing about how important IUD's are becoming for women to use. She uses one. So, stop saying: 'People need to chill out and get the facts straight on this ruling.' The fact is is that people need to understand that Plan B isn't an abortion pill. Otherwise, they would still be covering it. So, please give me a reason why they're not covering it. It's because they think it is an abortion pill. They think it stops a pregnancy. No. It prevents one. People need to understand the definition of abortion. Also, why not cover IUD's? Sure, they're riskier, but many women are going for that option. Also, these implantations that can go in your arm. I'm not sure if they count as IUD's, but they sure are a pretty powerful contraceptive.

Get it? Got it? Great.
Girly Post.
I'm just so tired of remembering to take my pill everyday and too many times I've just forgotten and I keep forgetting to get them refilled. Before anyone flips out, Trey and I use condoms, so we shouldn't have anything to worry about.
I've chosen Mirena. I know I've heard many horror stories about it, but after talking with my doctor today I feel very comfortable with getting it. The main reason I want an IUD is because it's long term up to 5 years. I'm two semesters away from starting nursing school and not that babies aren't adorable and awesome, but I don't want an unplanned pregnancy ruining or prolonging my plans for my career. Not to mention most of the people I am or used to be friends with are pregnant and haven't started or finished college yet. Not that I look down on them for it, because I don't. Elizabeth is a wonderful mom and I'm sure Harley will be fantastic along with everyone else I know that is pregnant or already has a kid. But If I ever decide I want kids, I want it on my terms and that's when I'm done with college, have my finances in check, and have a steady career. I don't wanna struggle bringing a baby into the world. I want to be prepared.
My doctor has to order it and make sure my insurance covers it, so I should be getting it in the next two weeks or less. I'm very excited to not have to hassle with pills anymore, and to be over 99% safe and covered for the next 5 years.
