Sammy told her to be nice, but she’s really not into the whole good cop thing today. She’s hungry, tired, and irritated. The guy in the three piece suit in front of her isn’t movie fast enough for her liking.
“ Hey, monkey suit up front, mind movin’ faster? I got a high profile case to work. ”
❈ ▌ Her elder sisters would have laughed if they could see Anya's current expression. One would think she was looking over a small child. They kind of were like children to her. Cars, that is. And this one is just about the most beautiful thing she's ever laid eyes on. An old classic. She circles the chassis a few times, inspecting it up close --- she hadn't seen its driver around, so she figured there wouldn't be much harm in it. It wasn't like she was going to tear into it (although the thought of working on such a beauty was incredibly tempting).
"Nineteen sixty-seven Chevy Impala. Zero to 60 in 7.9 seconds. Top speed of 130mph. Jesus Christ, you're in good shape for your age."

❝Evicted? Have you seen this? We're being evicted.❞
Emerald hued eyes scanned over the notice in her hands as she paced the room; the simple manner in which she was walking clearly gave off the fact that she was quite beyond annoyed. When she found herself unable to look at the document without having the urge to rip it in half, Bela thrust the paper into Dean's chest. Needless to say, his reaction was about the same: of course, the two weren't the best at remembering to pay rent, and the landlord had apparently had enough of the excuses they made up over time as to why they were always late. Some of their stories, in fact, were quite outlandish, trying to cover for the truth that they couldn't pay half of the time.
The landlord, of course, didn't care that they had virtually nowhere to go once they were kicked out; all he was interested in was their money, as all landlords should have been. Bela and Dean didn't have much time to pack their belongings; the two had many discussions about future plans, yet when the time came for them to leave, their best, and only, solution at the time was to pack their belongings into the Impala and search for a new home. Neither one of them were thrilled with the plan, and they found out in quite a short amount of time that their dog, a rather energetic german shepherd, wasn't fond of how much time they spent in the car, simply driving with no clear destination.
Some days, they drove nonstop; one could tell who was driving by the type of music that blasted through the speakers of the 1967 Chevy Impala: Dean's music was usually significantly louder than Bela's, more intense than what she listened to; yet, despite Bela's occasional requests for Dean to turn the volume down, she enjoyed the music that he played -- after all, it was entertaining to catch him singing along at times. She found his behavior quite amusing, and sometimes, it was the only thing keeping her from 'going insane.'
On clear nights, the two would pull over and set up camp on an empty roadside, if they were too far away from a motel; they would sometimes share stories, tell jokes, or have low toned conversations about possible destinations, which were never resolved. Sometimes, however, they would simply lean on the Impala, watching the sky above them. Bela would sometimes silently count the twinkling stars above; she almost felt at peace, despite the situation that they were in.
Many times, neither of them would talk -- absorbed in their own thoughts; the only sounds that could be heard were the sounds around them: the occasional cricket, soft breezes, and the occasional satisfied sounding grunt of their dog, who was always pleased to spend a prolonged amount of time outside. Bela, especially, savored these silent moments; she had practice in pushing her discomforting thoughts to the back of her mind, and she would simply enjoy the silence and warm breezes that came with the nights on the road.
One of these nights, however, Bela was the one to break the silence. She had tried to push the thoughts to the back of her head as she always did, but the same ones kept resurfacing, kept breaking the silence and peace in her mind. The only thing she could think of doing was to say it out loud, to Dean; she had no way to put the words in any sort of light manner -- no, her personality didn't allow for it, so she said it rather bluntly, her accented voice breaking the silence that usually came with the night:
❝Sometimes, I doubt we'll ever stop driving.❞
“And coveted, and stole….”
the crooked smile that plagues his face is not crafted in reassurance, but in triumph.
“S’good, sweetheart. We’re on the same page. —— 'Cause so did I.”
⊰♔⊱ -; And, she's a bit startled by the expression etched across Dean's features; the thief should have expected no less from the older Winchester, yet something in his tone catches her off guard for a moment. When she regains her composure, the brunette crosses her arms over her chest in a defensive stance.
❝What are you talking about?❞
❝ can you help me? I think I'm lost. ----
---- and you have food on your face. ❞
