Not bad! I always had the worst luck with IVs…
What’s funny is I was asleep for the right-hand one, which has the bigger bruise, but the left hand one hurt like hell because the nurse got closer to my wrist than intended, I think. I couldn’t really bend my hand. The nurse was super nice and helped me prop it.

The health center instead of CALLING me like they said and like any other decent person would do, they sent me an EMAIL! Which said I need to go see a specialist because the doctors have no idea what's wrong with my hand. Really?!?!?! I can't even believe this level of unprofessionalism. It sickens me. This sets me back a whole day of treatment. Thank you nurse, who originally said the growing red mark from a 2 week old IV sit was "completely normal and just healing."
