Zander wasn’t trying to avoid Ivan, he was simply trying to be anyplace he wasn’t, even if it resulted in Ches glaring at him every time he was near the Elswoods, as if she knew what he was up to. It’d been her he’d been talking to, not really paying attention to where she was leading him to, when he finally came face to face with his brother. “Hey, Ivan...” He starts awkwardly as he glances over to the girl to scold her for meddling, but she’s already darting off by the time he glances over to where she was. “Hailey, I swear to fucking god. You can’t just ditch me.” He shouts after her, but she doesn’t turn back. He groans, accepting there really wasn’t getting out of this. What was he going to do? Run in the opposite direction, that was a dumb idea, even if he’d been avoiding having this exact conversation. “That was Ches; you get used to her meddling and running after a bit. So, what have you been up to? Enjoying the warm weather?”
