A doodle of Ivan when he was younger.

He kept his hair shorter through his 30s (which he turned 30 in 1903) and up to around the late 1960s into the 1970s when he started to let it grow out some and kept it in the general style he’s drawn with currently.

- Still half-fey BUT gets a tail in this AU 🥺

- The owner of a high quality perfume making family business

- A magic glass cannon

- Not over his first love who broke his heart 😔 (cough Drake cough)

- Lost his right leg in a magical incident and wears a prosthetic

- His prosthetic can have patterned plates attached for different looks

- The prosthetic is connected to Ivan’s mind and very articulated

- The scarring is evidence of the unstable magic that disintegrated his leg

Did this a few days ago of Ivan’s cane. It’s actually a sword cane.

Very happy with how it turned out but man, drawing all of those details again and again in the future will be suffering™️

Ivan rarely uses the sword part of his cane, he normally doesn’t need to since he can rely entirely in magic and aura manipulation, but the sword cane has been with them since WWI when their right leg was permanently injured. The runes engraved into it have a meaning but the meaning is only known to Ivan and those who have seen the sword in action, or can somehow translate the intent of the magic in the runes (which is a runic language that Ivan invented himself) and what they mean.

A Rich Blood Ivan I’ve been messing around with. I’m going to change the arm poses though since he’s going to be holding a rapier. I’m really liking how it’s looking! This blocky brush I’ve been using for coloring it has changed my brain chemistry I swear

I am super late to a trend (surprise) but here’s Ivan in a draw your oc that went around Twitter back in December. You can find the original challenge on my Twitter linked in a reply under the tweet of this art.

I actually started this in December but only got around to finishing up some colors on it and uploading now lol (there’s a time lapse up on Twitter too. Tumblr didn’t like it so it didn’t get uploaded here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

🌙 Moonlit Waltz ✨

This took awhile to complete and went through several iterations. The first iteration was actually set during the day. Very happy to have it done in time for Valentine’s 💌

I learned quite a lot doing this. It is also one of the remaining pieces using my old lineart brush. Just a few more art pieces to finish that used that brush and then it will be onto a new one!
