I thought I saw somewhere season 5 was airing Sept 30th? Maybe I dreamt it!

The internet is still just full of rumors. The most common rumor is November. Maybe they will announce it this weekend at Comic-con???

According to an EW article, Ivar will be battling Heahmund in the city of York, those were the rainy battle scenes we saw in the teaser trailer.

And according to this other article, those scenes will be early in the season, and also THE VIKINGS CAST THAT ARE AT COMIC CON WILL BE TAKING OVER EW’S SNAPCHAT ACCOUNT THIS FRIDAY so I need all you stalkers that know how to capture snaps to be all over this for me please @ivarsvalkyrie @lottak

Dude agreed. They’ve been a favorite band of mine for about 15 years now, and yet somehow I never thought about how good of a fit for Ivar they are until I saw them the other night haha. 

They’ve got such a heated, romantic, intense vibe that is perfect influence for Ivar :)
