When will I be able to look beyond my past

Its crazy how I’m in school in living my dream of being at howard going to to school with no worries and I still can’t see the greatness in me I still put myself down. I wish I could see myself through Gods eyes and just love myself the way he loves me I mean all my sins and everything in my past he doesn’t even think about it anymore but yet he I am carrying around all this baggage that I thought i left in basic training . Well I just pray that God just sets me free from my negative thoughts of myself and just lets me see the best in me because he saw the best in me that’s why he has brought me through the the concrete so can grow into a be rose and every rose has its thorns  if they didn’t have thorns they wouldn’t be roses i just wish I could see past my thorns I want to be me
