Miyun woke up the next morning feeling exhausted. It was the last time she would sleep on the couch. She dragged herself to the bathroom and looked at her face. Stained in tears and make up. With a sigh she washed her face, clearing all the make up off. After she re applied new makeup she felt another sharp pain in her stomach, wondering what the hell she had in there. It felt like some sort of demon trying to break free. Then she remembered, she had to go to the doctors. The thought scared her, as long as the didn’t take needles she would be fine, right? With that she went to get changed before heading out to the walk-in-clinic.
The girl decided to stop by the cafe and get something to eat, she was starving. But once she walked in she instantly felt sick at the smell of the food being made in the cafe. She quickly walked out, taking a deep breath, placing a hand on her stomach. Miyun stood there for a moment before proceeding to walk down the street. She was almost there, just a few more feet, but she stopped, suddenly growing tired and weak. She mentally cursed herself for being this way, she needed to find out what the hell was wrong with her. Eventually she walked into the clinic, luckily it was empty, it must have been too early for people to be coming by. Miyun went to the front desk and gave her all the information the secretary needed before sitting down and waiting.
About ten minutes had passed and the doctor finally called her in. Miyun sat there telling him about the symptoms that she was having, all he did was nod and hand her a stick like device. “Go to the washroom down the hall and pee on it then come back, okay?” She took the device, blinking at the doctor before doing what she was told. When she was done the screen showed a plus sign, confused, Miyun handed the doctor the device. “Ms. Kim, you’re pregnant, congratulation.”
With that Miyun hurried down the street towards Ivriel’s shop, she couldn’t believe it she was pregnant and she was pretty sure it was his. Swiftly turning corners, she was near the tattoo shop. Of course, once she was close she grew tired, her head spinning. She began to walk towards the shop, pushing open the door. “Ivriel!” She looked around, finding him at his desk. Without letting him speak she blurted out. “I’m pregnant.”
