Another day another mishap. I was trying to figure out the tension on my serger for 40mins before I realized the thread spools weren’t even aligned 😫. I managed to sew all the seams the right direction but some of the serger thread isn’t tucked into the fold-over elastic like I wanted so that’s messy 🙄 but overall another pair of underwear that fit my phat ass and I’ve got less scraps laying around so that’s a win. #ivybriefs #singerizek #singerprofinishserger #scrapbusting https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm9uQgYvUIR/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Posting tonight’s failure just for fun. I’ve been wanting to try turning my stretchy scraps into patchwork undies instead of throwing them away and this first pair did not turn out very well lol. It was my first time trying to serge underwear and the tension was right for the first seam but not the next somehow 🥲 I also managed to create a seam on the wrong side for the back end 😂.
