7. Curiosity Sex
To say he was curious about bedding a mortal was an understatement. But, hey, if Zeus could get his freak on with the delectable creatures that graced the green planet at their feet, why couldn't he?
Eros had no earthly desire to debauch the vestal virgins that came to his temple, they were pure for a reason - though he didn't quite get that, either. Love was love. To deny the most basic of emotions was criminal.
Still...
So he went in search of someone with whom he could test out the pleasures of the flesh. Question was, who would be the lucky soul?
" Safeword!"
"Pumpernickle." Eros said it softly, looking sheepish. "It's not a word I would ever say on a normal occasion. Have you ever had the bread? Disgusting. Don't. I wouldn't feed it to the fat-ass squirrels that seem to congregate every time I go to the park."
He hated the squirrels, but he fed them just the same. They were a sort of squirrel army. He liked that.
But now wasn't the time to think about squirrel armies or how fat and fluffy they were.
He had a gorgeous brunette on his bed and he was attemting to woo her. He'd think about squirrels later. "Is that alright as a safeword? Or did you want to pick another? I don't really know how this whole thing works. I usually get mortals feeling frisky. I don't get to have much fun."
I'm truly terrible at writing these but you do a wonderful job in your Eros verse. The sarcasm is wonderful, his insecurities over the lack of human worship are great. Psyche likes it that he thinks he can challenge her XD which considering their 'relationship' is I guess high praise? Your verse and your Eros are still pretty young but I can only see great things for it in the future.
