As a treat, here’s an excerpt from the currently in progress year 7 of ‘Anemone Flips the Script’ because god I love writing Sol’s parents

Flulu is the one to cut you off as she presses a firm and calloused (Although no less loving) hand on your shoulder, “Don’t work yourself into a fit, Anemone. Geranium’s only teasing, when he should be holoing the kitchens with our order. Right, Ger?” The man stands to attention under his wife’s gaze, ruffling the already messy hair of Sol before he nods and begins to make his way for the door. “Right! We’ll call you two out once it’s here. C’mon Flulu, I want to see if they put my submission in the crossword puzzle this month finally.” And with an exasperated sigh you hear, “Dear, ‘What goes up must always come down’ for floatcow isn’t going to get put in.” Before the door shuts and you and Sol are alone once more.
