i’m mad about this because neither boy saw hermione as anything more than just a friend when it came to the yule ball. so it just seems dumb that either of them would want to be with her.

i mean, i always liked Ron/Hermione so i guess i'm biased but like, i always felt that he showed some hints of jealousy when Hermione went with Krum? whereas Harry was... oh?! oh okay. he was surprised but completely unaffected by it. Ron got a little huffy, like he didn't even consider it an option until then. which is pretty dick-ish (because lbr his character development didn't start until like book 6 lol) but at least it was an emotional reaction of some sort? Harry literally had no reaction. idk man the idea of it just makes no sense to me. Harry/Hermione is such a boring ship. there's nothing there.

i went out to old westbury today and had to turn right back around to go home. took me about an hour and 15 minutes. this is gross.

it seriously is. no one was prepared because it started like eight hours earlier than it was supposed to! my brother works in Freeport and he just texted five minutes ago to tell us that he's finally on Nicholls THAT IS BULLSHIT he's been on the road since 12:30!!! i feel so bad for Mrs. Ferguson, she got in at two o'clock and a few minutes later they announced that we're closing at three. she had to drive in from Ridge!

i just hope that the next "thing" doesn't interfere so much with what i do like, you know? stuff like vampires and dystopias overlap too much with general fantasy, and it's almost like it's absorbing it. like, maybe i want to read about fairies or ghosts or mythology without it being set in a post-apocalyptic future HOW ABOUT THAT?! ughhh
