You're putting your energies in the wrong direction. Your talents, skills, and abilities are being used the wrong way, and there may be a better way to use them. Your partner is a mature and reliable guy, but he's cautious. He will put a lot of thought into a relationship before committing, and that's probably why you're on and off with him. In the past, your relationship with him was a good new beginning for you. You may have came out of a not so great situation into a new and more positive one. However now there is a change happening; don't try and resist it. Look at things as they are. Are you happy with this on and off bit? If you're not, now is the time to take charge and change it. Trying to hang on will only make it worse. And don't wait until the last minute to make this decision, or you may be put in a bad situation. At this point, it seems as if your guy is happy with being with you at his leisure and won't want to commit. He seems unbending in this.
