“No, it’s okay, it’s okay! I’m alright. I’m fine, I promise, really, I’m—” He froze for a moment, his teeth clenching when another wave of residual energy ran through his body, giving him a small electric shock. Small being a point of view, really. It felt like being tased with a taser the size of a chair. Scott, who had pressed his eyes closed, blinked them open again carefully and looked at Kira, breathing out the breath he didn’t know he had been holding. ”..I’m okay.”
And this was why you don't sneak up on people and scare the daylights out of them.
"No, you're not. Oh god, how much did it hurt ? Just, come on, sit down for a second. I promise I'm not gonna touch you again, so don't -- don't worry about getting shocked again, okay ? "
She meant it. She was probably never going to touch him again in this lifetime. Not if she could help it.
"Save yourself, I’ll hold them back."

It bursts out of her mouth before she can help it, heart beating out of her chest as she tightens her grip on her katana.
” I'm not leaving without you. This isn't going to be how this works, Scott."

"I’m in love with you."
Send "I’m in love with you." to see how my muse reacts.
It's almost too good, too wonderful to believe. So she doesn't. Lets the words pass over her, tries to push down the hope welling in her chest. It's either a dream or a joke or a mistake, and for a long time now she'd trained herself to bury her feelings for Scott McCall because what else could she have done? She could never fill the hole Allison left behind, It was a fact she'd forced herself to accept long ago.
So this? This sudden confession? It feels like a slap in the face.
"--Don't. Just... don't, Scott. You don't have to feel obligated to say that to me. It's okay. Really. I understand."
Just Keep Running
Just… keep… running…
It kept pounding through her mind, that thought. Lydia had always been healthy and fit, but she was an intellectual. She liked to go on walks with the books that she had… well… obtained through less than Christian behavior. She liked to walk out to the fields and view the flowers after a morning rain. She would spend hours pounding away at bread and sweeping floors. She… she did a lot of healthy things. But running?
What reason would a girl like her ever have for running?
There she is! There’s the witch!
So run she did. She had thankfully gotten a head start, given the house was close to the woods, and she knew it far better than these traveling witch hunters. She had run for hours now, well into the darkness of the night, but she knew they were closing in. She was no good at covering a trail, and her long dress gave her no support. But stopping wasn’t an option. Stopping would result in her death. A death that she really had no interest in.
Skirts held in both hands, Lydia jumped over a tree root and saw what she had been searching for. The river. The dogs they had with them would lose her scent. The river was deep at this part, but if she could just make it across… she would work her way downstream until the water level was less, and then she would continue running in the water. It all came to a head at a waterfall, and then… there was a cave, underneath the water. It was all she needed. She could hide out there until…
Lydia hadn’t really thought that far ahead. Jackson had betrayed her, blaming the strange occurrences around him on her. Stiles couldn’t help in this - the Sheriff had handed all power to the Hunters. Danny was having his own battle of hiding, and there was no way that they would accept her, an accused witch, at the church. But, she just had to survive the night. Survive the night, and-
She tripped over a rock and felt the snap. Heard it as well. She looked down in horror at her leg and saw the bend. No blood, thankfully, and no protruding bone. She had to… God, she was so close. If she could just make it to the river, perhaps she could float down it. She could hear the water… she began dragging herself towards it, but the sound of horse hooves drew closer. A sob escaped her and she continued dragging herself, praying… praying…
She wasn’t going to make it.
