GRILLED CHICKEN THIGH WITH BALSAMIC AND ORANGE MARMALADE
TBH when i ate it idk it lacked something butttttt it was still nice and tasty. I ate this with some left over broccoli aren’t I so healthy.
INGREDIENTS (ROUGHLY):
Chicken thigh, nice big cuts because they shrink when you cook it
1tsp Sweet Paprika powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 1/2 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
1/2 tsp 5 spice powder
3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 small lime (i used 5 calamansi)
5 chopped garlic cloves
3 tbsp Olive oil
2 tbsp sugar
BEFORE GRILLING:
Marinate the chicken thigh in the lime/calamansi (i know they say that it’s better if you keep it marinated longer buuuuut i didn’t, i just kept it there for a short while; maybe that’s why it lacks a bit of taste)
On another bowl put the following ingredients (in order) olive oil, balsamic, sweet soy sauce, sweet paprika, 5 spice, coriander, sugar chopped garlic mix mix mix mix mix
put the chicken and the newest mixed thing together and make sure the chicken is coated nice and good
Use a grilling pan and set temp on high heat (add a bit of oil)
grill the chicken when the pan starts to smoke a bit (it’s okay if some parts of the chicken turn black, it’s the sugar)
yay chicken time
IF THERE’S EXTRA SAUCE FROM THE MARINATE:
put the grilling pan on low and add the sauce (all the chicken is done)
add a tsp of corn starch to make it thicken
yay sauce
