Instagram's brand guidelines are a good example of brand guidelines which effectively resonate the aesthetic of the brand as well as being informative to the user. The majority of the layout's background uses the iconic pink to purple diagonal gradient with white contrasting sections, which are resonant of the website/ App's general appearance. The use of red x's and green ticks in the do's and donts section add a good amount of visual context and help to break down information for an easier visual digestion. The contrast of white backgrounds and those with coloured gradients help to further perpetuate this effect, helping to contrast between information dense and more instructional sections. The balance of all caps condensed text and normal post text help the user to mentally separate the headings from the main information, and is also used to highlight important facts. These are all again very resonant of instagram's overall aesthetic. As a whole, instagram has thoroughly considered design as well as aesthetic and information presentation when creating their brand guidelines, and are a good example of what good brand guidelines look like
