   He pulls his sword from the Hollow’s skull, and the beast crumbles to dust, freed from its hellish existence. A dull scraping can be heard as he returns it to his sheath. Kenpachi’s trying to come up with conversation while talking to this woman, supposedly an incarnate deity. He’s been sent to make sure that she is who she says she is, but given that she can see spirits, it’s a step in the right direction.

crimson tinted eyes stared, narrowing coldly, down at the woman. was she even a woman? with such a vulgar tone indra would have thought otherwise. there wasn’t much there anyway. unsettling was the air about the man; one of nobility, superior to many people, however, this woman showed no respect towards him whatsoever. did she not know of him? when indra spoke he wasn’t just rude but harsh as well.

‘ if i have offended you you can go elsewhere with your empty threats. have you never heard of showing respect to those higher than you, woman? if that’s what you even are. not much there at all -- ’
