iZombie rant/spoilers
This was a GREAT episode of iZombie tonight. Lots going on and all the characters got some part in it. Just as I suspected, as soon as Lilymoore hook back up, things start getting shaky all over again. It doesn’t look like he wants to deal with her zombie multiple personality disorder. I think he’s holding onto the memories of her, or maybe how he was when they were together, and he’s trying desperately to cling onto something solid from his past (even if it wasn’t THAT long ago). So I guess we’ll see how long this lasts.
Ravi ended it with Stephanie (I want to say FINALLY but like...when did we ever really see them together anyway? once? meh). So then...silly Ravi, he tries to kiss Peyton (and as a Pavi fan, and anti-Plaine fan....I really wished it woulda happened). However, it is kinda interesting to see those Peyton/Blaine interactions. Like, she’s falling for his charm fast (but who can blame her, amirite?) And I think she may have even almost mentioned Blaine’s name to Ravi before Ravi stopped her and just left.
And now...for my favorite part...sssss. parts. ALL the Blaine and Liv scenes. I mean WOW these two have such good chemistry. their banter makes me laugh every time and Blaine’s just so witty with words. Their dialogue bounces off each other flawlessly and it’s definitely the moral girl vs. immoral boy vibe that gives everything life. I’m glad they didn’t just make Blaine “EVIL” but actually gave him character. He could have easily been the “I’m boring but evil, now lets kill to eat brains” type, but nah. He has lots of different layers AND I think.....if they really do decide to go the Plaine route....I would still enjoy seeing Blaine in that sort of scenario as well.
...Though I can’t see everyone keeping Blaine’s true identity from her once she “introduces” her.
Major: He killed me!
Liv: Yeah, he’s the one that infected me in the first place...
Ravi: ....you’re choosing him over me?
But anyway. I hope we get to see lots more Blaine and Liv scenes in the future as they continue....hunting down Major and going behind Clive’s back. Yeah, Liv is definitely erasing the line in between. AND I LOVE IT!!
