it’s been five years since that fateful day at the airport, neither having spoken a word since. how could they really? izuku thought he was too late, and eden? she thought he never cared at all. now, face to face with so many words left unspoken, what will these to do?

i fear izuku wouldn’t be able to get it up. he always ends the date just when things are starting to get hot and heavy. most of the girls assume he’s just polite, or he has work early in the morning, sometimes they wonder if he’s trying to keep his reputation clean. they always end in the back seat of his car before he drives them home.

there’s no awkward tucking, his cheeks aren’t flushed, he bids them a warm goodbye before he inevitably ends things by saying he thought they were lovely but he just isn’t in a place to be serious right now.

the truth is, he spends most of his dates calculating how may differences they have to deerden. sometimes it’s the lack of fuzzy ears, other times it’s the missing moles, or it’s the pristine skin where there should be scars. all of those missing pieces leave him pathetically flaccid.

the only thing getting him up is a picture of deerden, sometimes even a video so he can hear her voice, but he always feels rotten afterward

saturday mornings are lazy for us, at least when it’s just the two of us without anyone else who needs our attention. we laze in bed tangled up in the sheets and with each other and when we’re ready to start our day if the weathers good we open up all the windows before taking a trip to our local farmers market. he buys me flowers, i buy his favourite snacks to sneak into his lunch!

izuku loves to kiss me on my beauty marks, the tip of my nose, and the back of my hand. if he can’t get a proper kiss (when i’ve just reapply my lip gloss) he’s taking his kisses where ever he can. he also likes the idea that beauty marks are where your lover in another life kissed you most. he kisses the same spots so he could find me in the next life.

i like to kiss the palm of his hands, his inner wrist, and his cheeks. almost absentmindedly kissing his hands over the old scars and leaving lipstick all over his cheek so everyone knows he’s mine!

tfj izuden starts dating in high school after the war. they’re a month into second year and izuku’s realized that the embers of ofa are fading faster than he’s anticipated. it kinda shakes him to his core and he’s forced to confront the fragility of time and he confesses to me in the girls bathroom. he barges in while i’m brushing my teeth and he word vomits his feelings before he can over think things. we date until graduation when i leave japan to soul search.

when i come back to japan and am engaged, its a sort of fatal attraction that surrounds us. izuku is more than content to breathe the same air as me and i’m eaten alive with guilt and shame for having desires outside the good of my family. we become roommates (+ tenya it’s his place after all) and when tenya’s gone to america to visit his nekoni an awful storm leaves us without power for three days. we’re stuck inside and forced to talk about our feelings. one thing leads to another and suddenly there’s a cum stain on tenya’s expensive sofa and we’re left in this awful in between until i run away from my wedding to be with him!
