Like a weeping willow, that is the beauty of the transgirl sad but delicate and beautiful.

I can't help but see so much sadness in my own eyes in the mirror, something I ignored for many years.

It moves me in such a way, I only see this look in the eyes of other trans girls who've had it rough.

But at least I finally see my own pain in another's eyes, there's a solace in that.

Is it much? No. I don't wish it on anyone, but I can't say I'm not just greedy enough to feel relieved to know others have walked my path

If I was the lone transgirl in this world, or the first, the despair I'd know would be unknowable, there's a certain myth to it no?

As though we are cursed daughters of some Greek deity, or another.

Like a punished lineage of myth.
