To the Land of the Living ;x
Earlier that day,
"I'm taking a vacation!" Hozuki announced loudly over lunch with King Enma, furiously writing in his notebook. He would not be stopped this time. Enma urged him to take him along with him, and he politely-- yet assertively, refused. Across the television screen a 'free trip' banner had appeared, and the deputy of Hell was in no position to refuse such an opportunity. After all, his only breaks from his work consisted of watering his goldfish plants during his lunch breaks. Sometimes he didn't eat at all, and pulled all-nighters just to dig trenches for the bastard who had a special place in hell waiting for him, where sexual deviants belonged. "It's been decided." At present, Hozuki has solidified his schedule and been sent off on his most likely one-time only trip.
Pulling a hat down over his horn, Hozuki marveled in his excellent disguise. His modesty nearly slipped away as he began to momentarily believe that he was indeed a master at just about everything. But there was no time to be thinking about that-- he was in the land of the living, and what a glorious opportunity that was! Though, he was advised not to take women to cemeteries for dates. (In his mind, that was the most appropriate and thoughtful choice. But apparently not.) And here he found himself stepping into a train, looking a little lost. He didn't think he would feel so distressed in unfamiliar territory, despite his exterior maintaining its usual calm, yet displeased aura. Tourist guide in hand, he rubbed his chin in thought. So where to first...?

12. Having an emotional moment
Fran sat quietly on the edge of the bed, biting back the tears stinging in his eyes as his hands curled to fists around the bedsheets. He usually wouldnt act like this, but he was alone in his room. In his moment of weakness, though, he didn't hear the door open and thus tears slowly ran down his face without him knowing that someone else was watching.
♦
Fran quickly put down his arm again, pulling the sleeve over the mark and looking at the other, trying to see how he reacted. It would be great if he didn't know what it meant, because he didn't like telling people about it and he wasn't planning to. "Ah, is there a problem?"
