this is my official appreciation post for the Draag National Auxiliary Band and supporting LLTBP cast

so DRAAG employed The Black Parade, used them as propaganda. their manager was the man in the suit with the rose (sorry i missed his name). they were doing DRAAG’s bidding, running the elections and executing the candidates. truly dark shit.

then Gerard started acting out, mocking his manager and what not, which of course got him in trouble and literally SMACKED. he takes off part of the uniform halfway through, but the manager guy forces him to wear it again.

later in the set, especially during teenagers, they stop showing the faces of the band members are start playing television ads for DRAAG game shows and canned soup corporations. they’re trying to cover up the Black Parade’s rogue, defiant behaviour.

and after the manager guy had enough of the defiance, he went crazy and murdered Gerard. DRAAG soldiers entered the scene and detained Ray, Mikey, and Frank (although Mikey bolted so maybe he got away free).

that’s what i got out of the plot… let me know what yall thought it was about

Sylvia is one of the only characters that hasn’t been proven to be reconditioned. Literally everyone else is in the reconditioning montage during Sleep (Gerard, Ray, Mikey, Frank, DS, the other Clerk, the Dictator, the “Secretary” woman, etc.)

Which has me believing she’s really the one in charge.

The South American Tour is a Prequel to the North American Tour.

At first, I wasn't completely on board with the idea. I thought that maybe the Lima show came after the North American shows and the Black Parade was being punished for their behaviour. However, I realised a few things that made me fully believe without a doubt that the South American shows come first in the chronological order of LLTBP shows.

The Black Parade arrived on stage as if they had just woken up. They're in a mental hospital (the MOAT), surrounded by nurses, doctors, and fellow inpatients. The four band members are wearing exactly what they were wearing in their final days back in the OG Black Parade era. Mikey is covered in ash and dust. Frank's sleeves are torn. Ray's pants appear to be shredded at the bottom. Gerard's jacket is ripped up. They burned in Mexico City and Draag took them to the MOAT. They're prisoners here.

They have no idea where they are. Not until This Is How I Disappear, when the eyeball prop shows them a picture of themselves. They see their old uniforms and the memories start to come back. This is when Gerard and the others start to get angry that they are trapped here.

Later on, the eyeball says; "In recognition of your progress, here is a gift." Gerard's gift is the Gentleman. At the North American shows, Gerard says that he met the Gentleman in prison. THIS is the moment they met. And the Gentleman seems to be a character on a TV show, Gentleman Castle, which I assume Gerard watched in the MOAT, enjoyed, so the MOAT staff gave him a doll of the main character.

So after the Black Parade is taken out of the MOAT by His Grand Immortal Dictator, their punishment or "reconditioning" is having to perform each night for something they don't believe in. They're given fresh new uniforms and a new boss. And the boss looks suspiciously a lot like a fellow inpatient who Gerard murdered…

During the 2025 shows, Gerard was being haunted by his past in the form of the Clerk, and later the Clown. 

And I still believe that the Clown is a figment of Gerard's imagination; a confusing combination of his old friend from the MOAT and his beloved teddy bear. And when the Clown kills Gerard out of "revenge", it's really Gerard committing suicide because of the guilt of killing his friend.

Also. The Clerk/Prisoner DS672 is the main character of both of these narratives, but more on that later…

HIS GRAND IMMORTAL DICTATOR IS A FAKE!!

"His Grand Immortal Dictator". The man who was worshipped by the Black Parade and all the Draagoshkas for the entire first leg of the tour. The man who called all the shots. The one who we were all told was the leader of Draag.

We. Were. So. Wrong.

During 'Sleep', we see a horrific amount of footage that shows us exactly what happened to the Black Parade, to the Ministry's employees, and to D.S. They're all in prison uniforms, staring at something that is altering their memories, "reconditioning" them.

But then, among the chaos, look who else is trapped in reconditioning…

His Grand Immortal Dictator himself.

He was never the man who took over Draag and brought them into the "Concrete Age", blessing the land and the people with abundance and wealth. And he also wasn't the evil dictator who killed all of those MOAT prisoners at the North American shows. He was just a puppet, brainwashed like everyone else on that stage. 

So, who is pulling the strings? Who's really in charge?
