J. Beaver is an artist who has lived and painted in Indianapolis since 2011. He primarily focuses on achromatic acrylic paintings. On occasion his work includes sculptural elements such as painted rope, wooden yardsticks, & toys. His studio (S59) is located in the Circle City Industrial Complex. He has no pets.In my work I am trying to capture the feeling of how thoughts and images actually exist versus how I remember them to exist. I view my paintings as documents and the sculptural/object elements as memories (or how memory tends to abstract actual thoughts/objects). I don't feel like my work is particularly expressional in the artistic sense, but I do view it as a record of expression.
