I swear I'm trying to make you feel better with this but if you feel like you graduation took too long, think this: in my country, you start your degree on your first year, no years of basic studies. My best friend from unversity started at 28- 10 years older than everyone else after battling depression and anxiety for 14 years that made it difficult for her to study. If she could do it and now is a great doctor, you can do anything you want- it doesn't matter how long it takes to get there.

I’m 100% here for people getting shit done later in their life because they had some shit to go through. life doesn’t bless everyone with a perfect linear projection of achievement but what is more important is how we face up to our struggles rather than how we make missteps through what is expected of us. your friend is amazing and she should never doubt that.
