1. Why did you start writing fanfiction? Was Far Cry 5 the first fandom you wrote for?

I've always written short stories and whatnot but yes, FC5 was my first fandom. I randomly searched for Jacob fan fics one day, got hooked on reading them and then decided I wanted to try my hand at it as well! After two months of being too afraid, I finally posted my first fic "Red Wolf" on AO3. 

2. Why Far Cry 5? What led you to it? 

The game itself drew me in right away. I love dissecting characters (villans especially) and Far Cry has always had some of the best! Jacob's character spoke to me especially. I've always seen his humanity peek through the cracks and understood his motives - he just fascinates me. Perhaps I paint him in a softer light than most in my fics, but I enjoy showing that side of him. 

3. Of everything you have written so far, which one is your favorite?

My personal favorite is "On the Winds of Autumn". I wrote it for my dear friend who had the idea of one of the Whitetails falling for Jacob. I think that's when I first noticed my style becoming a bit more refined and detailed, so I'm proud of that one. But I guess if I had to recommend any, it would be "Led by Lust". Most people seem to like that one best. I suppose because it's a polyseed fic, maybe?

4. Any tips for those who are starting - or considering starting - to write fan fiction?

Yes, and I wish someone had sat me down early on and lectured me about this until it stuck. Don't write for anyone but yourself. If you want to use simple, plain language... do it. If you want to go against the grain and write something that you feel is silly... do it. Write because it makes you happy and never compare yourself to others because we're all different and tell beautiful stories in our own way.

4. Where would you recruit them from?

hmmm. well, her default hang-out place would either be her little farm (near kestral cabin) or the wolf’s den - her original recruitment would probably be at the wolf’s den, after eli called her there to help the dep with a mission. she wouldn’t be recruitable until after the first jacob kidnapping - she’s taken shortly before alice and escapes at the same time as her.

9. What would they say if you clicked on them?

honestly, she’d probably insult you lol - she’s like jess, but even more prickly and she doesn’t swear quite as much.

11. What weapon(s) would they have?

a pistol, hunting knife, and a recurve - a crossbow would probably be more practical, but a recurve hase the aesthetics she likes

What's your favorite GFH in FC? ☺️

Peaches, no doubt! I’m a big fan of stealth gameplay and she’s the perfect GFH for it. Not to mention I love her just for existing, I would definitely pick her even if she would be a tank GFH like Cheeseburger is. I must admit that I would love to hang out with Nick as well, but... He’s boring as GFH in my opinion. He doesn’t really have any cool lines outside the story missions. So, yeah, Peaches for the win.

For Lucy - what's your opinion on John's airplane jacket?

“When John was a baby, Jacob used to let him ride on his shoulders and he would get up there and stick his arms out and make the noises like he was a plane. I guess what I’m saying is John likes planes, more than he probably likes breathing, to be honest. So the jacket makes sense. And the longer I think about it, the sadder it makes me.

Also, it’s...not fashionable, John. Please reconsider.”
