I bring you: More SWtOR Spawn! :D
(ft. two Theron pairings and Keme/Jorgan babies)
Keala Merik-Shan
The Eisza/Theron baby. She grows up extremely blunt, with a very dry sense of humor. wonder where that came from. She does a brief stint(less than a year) as a model before joining her uncle's smuggling crew as, in his words, "the face man" bc she's very persuasive and charismatic. She can talk just about anyone into just about anything. Only her parents and Aunt Lana are immune bc they've been dealing with it since she learned to talk. xD
---
Josiah (Jos) Arien
Jaaide and Theron's kid. Theron insisted on him just having Jaaide's surname for two reasons. A) she's the last one left of her family and "the family name" was always important to her parents. B) He doesn't want his kid dealing with the "Shan? as in Bastila/Satele?" thing he's had his whole damn life.
I'm not sure what he does later down the road; probably Spy Stuff to the dismay of both parents who were hoping he'd avoid that life. (Jaaide especially got messed up being a spy, she'd want better for her son)
---
The aesthetics of this sequence were very pretty, but boy howdy did they give Jaaide flashbacks to KotET ch 9 😅
I am having Jaaide thinky thoughts after catching her up yesterday
In her mind, there are two good things that may come out of the current mess:
she gets to un-ally with the Empire and fully defect to the Republic like she's been trying to do for almost TWENTY KRIFFING YEARS
she gets to kill Jadus
tbh I think she's about to scare some people, including her beloved spy husband, bc of how locked in she is to that chance. Jaaide is not a ruthless person, no one has ever really seen her be that cold about killing, not even perpetual base game companion/BFF Vector, so for her to be lasered in on killing Jadus is gonna throw some people for a loop. But aside from him being a threat, and one she knows the severity of better than anyone, he is What Started It All.
Her confrontation with Jadus, and the fact she talked him down by talking back, is what caused her brainwashing. That was a no-win situation for her. She could've let him succeed, which would be she failed and lots of her people died, she could talk him down, or she could fight him. Even if she thought she could take him in a fight, she's smart enough to know the optics of that would have landed her in hot water. So she opted for dissuading him, pointing out the Dark Council would unite to take him down, to be more... respectful of the position he used to hold.
And she still landed in hot water, bc mere mortals aren't supposed to talk to their betters The Sith like that. So. Castellan Restraints. Shattered faith in the cause she served. The SIS infiltration mission, which led to the Star Cabal, which led to her defecting, and being forced to stay inside the service she hated for... three(?) more years before the carbonite nap and Alliance gave her a Break. And then she had to do it again bc of the "path she was on in life" or whatever. So rational or not, she sees Jadus and the fallout from his powerplay way back when as responsible/the tipping point for a lot of the traumatic events/circumstances in her life (and then one of that bastard's hallucinations made her fight Theron and peeled open a bunch of stuff she thought she'd dealt with from the Fractured Alliances arc). She's trying to stay level headed and take everything important into account for the looming confrontation on Khar Shian so she doesn't get any of her people hurt or killed. TRYING so hard. But Jadus needs to die. At least as much as Malgus, in her opinion MORE. Malgus is formidable. Jadus is terrifying.
If she'd just actually killed him all those years ago, how much of this wouldn't be happening now?
And that's the question that's gonna drive her through the end of this, and haunt her a good deal longer.
Did. Did Vowrawn just tell me not to be dramatic???
DARTH VOWRAWN, drama queen of the Dark Council and lover of theatrics, just told me
not to be dramatic????
Agenting in Master's Enigma
I feel like I missed a couple, but! here's a lot (most of?) the Agent-specific dialogue. I'm so glad I still have two more ready to run it; there were some choices I wanted to explore several options, but the cutscene sections are just so long. 😅
Digging through Jaaide's tag for screenies to put on that raffle post brought me face to face with the fallout of her screwing up the dialogue choice in Onslaught. :)))
Imagine the person you love more than life itself saying this to you when you alredy wanna curl up and die from guilt. :) No wonder it leads to their first and only Big Fight. :))
SWTOR OC Ages:
tagged by @vexa-legacy (thank you!) tagging @captainderyn @hurricanek8art and @stars-ephemeral if you feel like it ^^
In this interview, one of the devs (Caitlin), says that 7.6 is set to be at the end of 27 ATC/3626 BBY. So simple tiny tag game:
How old are your OCs in the current timeline?
ahaha I have so many... With the base game starting in 10 ATC:
Silver (Airen) Riggs would be 41 Telcontar Airen is 39 Jaaide Arien is 40 Vica Nerai is 43 Briyoni Nerai is 37 Tragen Xo'ric is 37 Endrali Jade is 35 Kementari Rand-Jorgan is 43
(I have more, this is just who I've set a firm age.)
