Why Henri? part 2
Ahahahahahahaha!
I’m starstrucked, my heart skyrocketting through the roof! So… I’m starting at one cuz’ I forgot the count.
1/ SURNAME DEFINITION
Jaakoppi came from Jakob, which came from Ιακωβος, a Greek word, which means “supplanter”, which means to overthrow or trip up. Yeah, baby. It’s happening.
2/ A SIGN FROM EADLYN
“Yes, probably. But there are things more worse than a language barrier.” It’s not the actual quote, but she said it, well, someone said she said it, idk. I think it’s from the report (chapter 25?) wherein the language barrier became a topic.
3/ SIMILARITIES WITH AMES PART 2
*1* CAN RULE THOUSANDS America’s father is a rebel, and then the rebels practically used her to fight what is right and to get rid of the castes. Henri’s whole family is Swendish, which could cause a great deal, for the Swendish people and the Headlyn fandom (lololol).
*2* FAVORITES (in a way) America is a favorite from the first three books (not a favorite character for the readers, if you know what I mean). Henri is not that of a favorite in the heir (but a favorite of many many readers. He’s a cinnamon roll… too good for this world…)
*3* NICE TO THE PEOPLE Remember the airport scene wherein Ames wasted thirty minutes to communicate with people? (Celeste was practically furious at that time). And then the float scene, wherein Henri waved like crazy when he saw his name on a banner (or something).
*4* HAS A FRIEND THAT’S CLOSE TO THE SELECTOR Ames and Marlee, Henri and Erik.
*5* HAS A SPECIAL PRIVATE NIGHT SCENE OH MY GOLLY WOW!!! I’M SO LOVING MY BRAIN RIGHT NOW!!! Well, America has a special scene with Maxon, when Ames wants to go out scene, yeah… you know it. Henri has a kissing scene, which is MORE POWERFUL THAN AMERICA’S PRIVATE NIGHT SCENE!!! Wait- MAXON AND AMERICA SLEPT TOGETHER!!! YEAHHHHHHHH!!!
4/MRS. K’S LIFE
On partylikeawordstar’s twitter, it is said that she has midnight snacks, asking for recipes that’s not that loud to prepare (I once stalked her twitter cuz’ I’m bored…) Eadlyn had a midnight snack. Her midnight snack was omenalörtsy (or Henri’s lips, if you know what I mean)
5/ HARRY STYLES
For those who don’t know (silly me everyone knows this), Harry Styles is Mrs. K’s fave boyband member. And, to be honest, his hair is kinda wild and curly (ahem) and has experience in baking (Ahem) and the fans say he’s sweet (AHEM) yeah… I have a cough today… ahahaha
6/ MOCKERY
Remember when America was saying Maxon looks kinda dull and boring to be with and eventually ate every word she said? Well, at the very start, when May came by, Eadlyn judged some man, with the curliest of hair, his resume for the selection, full of spelling mistakes, and where is she now? Well, she’s becoming vulnerable and weak from that man’s sweet kiss. *sigh*
YEAH!!!!!
That’s all, folks! It’s actually insane that I made the part 1 just yesterday and added SO much today, so yeah. Hope it helps!
NOTE: I’m comparing Henri with America because I have the Similarity Theory, that when someone has a lot of similarities with the previous person, they would dig it. It’s like when you love a boyband and it, for example, disbanded or died, you would look for another boyband similar to the previous, or something like that.
GOD!!! Doing this in mobile really sucks! hahaha
Why Henri?
Okay. I think I’m one of the greatest fanboys ever. No offense. Henri is simply an entity worthy to love. And, I’m here to discuss why, oh why, would Henri win the Selection.
1/ NAME DEFINITION
Henri, derived from the name of Kings, means “Ruler of the Home”, which is the same with Queen America’s name definition. (I think he’s destined to have that name).
Do not confuse yourself with Eikko’s definition, Island Ruler. From further research, Eric (name origin) means “Alone” or “Isolated”.
Some Selection characters actually have significant name definitions, tbh. America, as I said earlier, means “Ruler of the Home” which is perfect for her, because she won. Maxon Calix (Greatest Cup) is, I guess, the “trophy” of the competition. Aspen might resemble the treehouse back in Carolina, or home, in general.
Wow. I can debate for hours.
2/ SIMILARITIES WITH AMES
*1/ NAME DEFINITION We already discussed this, so…
*2/ ONLY EUROPEAN-BLOODED CONTESTANT America is a redhead, so I assume that this is true. She must be from the Scottish/Irish region of UK. Henri is Swendish, which is believed to be a country wherein Finland, Sweden, and Norway are united.
*3/ BEST KNOW FOR THEIR HAIR Redhead and Curly Blonde, baby!
*4/ HAS A THING WITH DESSERTS I think I don’t need to explain this. Well, I do. She’s has a Sweet Tooth and he’s a Baker.
This might be pointless, but…
*5/ DESCRIBED THAT THEY WORE BLUE CLOTHES Wow. I absorbed the books quite well. America always wore blue dresses while Henri (Chapter 27, I think. The kissing scene) is described to have a blue shirt (or undershirt, idk), which Eadlyn welped at when she lied on the bed
.
3/ A PURE CINNAMON ROLL
A cinnamon roll indeed… And his hair… And his goofy smile… And his accent… And his experience in baking… UGH!!!
4/ HE LOVES HER
Do I need to explain this? cuz’ I’m bored… Joke! Why would I leave this part!?
Erik already said a lot, and, as seen from the vvictius filter, I can see that his looks could melt Eadlyn, if she’s not stubborn.
Oh, and after the kiss, he was scared that he touched her without permission (about the Jack Ranger thing), and that he’s so vulnerable when they KISSED-AYIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Oh! And when he explained to how he would be if ever they end up together (the clown part. Erik’s TV debut). SO SWEET!
5/ SHE SOMEHOW LOVES HIM
Did you know that she ran after they kissed? “Stupid Swendish baker and his stupid spices.”- AYYYIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!
Oh, Oh, Oh! And that she couldn’t send him home because he’s so nice and CUTE-AHHHHHHHH!
She shouted “Go Henri!” when they played baseball. That’s already a sign of affection for me.
Oh! And she said she cared for him-UGHHHHHH! I don’t remember to what chapter it is, but I think It’s the kissing scene.
Ahihihihihi. And the moment she said that of all the people, even with the language barrier, Henri is the only one he could trust, that she could talk intimately with him, but…
6/ THE LANGUAGE BARRIER
I hate it when people use this to defend their favorite suitor. Fyi, a human can learn multiple languages with ease. Do you know the girl Deanerys asked for in Astapor? She knows 19 languages. And the b*tchy girl in Pitch Perfect 2, she knows, like 11 languages? 9? Idk. I never had the chance to watch it, but yeah…
7/ BENEFITS
*He’s a cinnamon roll, like duh! *He’s sweet, like duh! *He’s basically perfect, like duh!
HAHAHAHA Let’s get serious…
*The palace would have tasty desserts *cuz’ of that, America would vote for him *Maxon kind of voted for him. *Illéa and Swendway would have a greater connection.
Wow. Benefits are running low!
hahahaha Well, that’s that! This may be a pursuasive list, or an arguementative list, like, whatever. Hope you’re enlightened!
Note: I don’t like to compare Henri with the other suitors cuz’ I don’t like fights from the internet. Erik’s name definition is just my research. No offense.
