everyone hated me [when i joined eastenders]. for six months people we’re like ‘who’s that new chubby lauren? she’s really rubbish’ and i remember sitting on the train once --- and i’m not gonna get into it, i’ll start crying. i was sitting on a train once, right? and i was looking out the window and these people were talking about eastenders, and they were like ‘have you seen the new lauren?’ and i’m like... i’m on the train! i’m here! [did they know that you were there?] i think so. i hope so.
