Jack jogged up to the nearest shower block after spending the afternoon swimming in the sea. He'd walked up from the beach and wanted to wash some of the sand away before heading ... well, he'd not decided where he was heading after this. He came up naked, his clothes slightly wet in his hands.

Jack was coming up the long route from the West beach heading towards the shower block up on the hill. He’d been out on an early morning swim in the sea, a new habit he’d taken up since coming back to Eden’s Hollow.

The island felt different this year. This was the first time he’d come down to the island bar since arriving back two days ago and the first since he’d become a permanent resident rather than just visiting between terms at college. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do now it was over yet, perhaps see how long he could go before his Dad bugged him about getting a job.

He was at the bar nursing some cocktail full of ice between his hand when he looked over to notice the other. Jack smiled and nodded his head, “Sorry to say you’re going to be seeing a lot more of me around here now.”
