I’m so late with this , but I think it’s looks cool anyway
I think it’s a real shame not enough people talk about Jack’s visual impairment. Like I know that most people draw him and talk about him with the mask on but the idea of him having to wear it so he can see clearly due to the scaring is sooo slept on imo
WAH HA HA!!!!!! I drew Jack and Tim together ermmmmm yeah i forgot who was who but anyways I refuse to believe they look exaccctly the same (im actually lying i just cannot draw two of the same thing LOL) ANYWAYS WHATEVER
Handsome Jack from Borderlands
⭐️ Handsome Jack from Borderlands is a Chortai.
Procured in Russia and Ukraine, the Chortaj was a favourite breed of Russian nobility. During the Revolution, the dogs left in the royal kennels were bred out and even despite this, were recognised by the Soviet Kennel Club. But as time went on, they started to die out. Compared to other sighthounds they tend to be more independent and aloof. They do not have an undercoat, and one of the websites I saw said to not bathe them more than twice a year. Chortais were used in conjunction with falcons, their combined efforts resulting in food on the table and family members clothed in furs. Because of flat bones and muscle dispersion, the Chortai looks lankier than a Greyhound, and compared with that breed, it’s much more flexible and supple, a structure that accommodates the dog not only at high speed, but the moment it captures its prey. It’s skin is much more resistant then that of a Greyhound, which must be protected from occasional wounds.
