The Boy In the Striped Pajamas Movie Review

*spoilers cause duh* A History Drama directed by Mark Herman. Starring Asa Butterfield (Bruno) Vera Famiga (Elsa) David Thewlis (Ralf) Jack Scanlon (Shmuel) Rupert Friend (Lieutenant Kotler) Amber Beattie (Gretal) So I’m crying this was tragic. I knew it was gonna be sad but still here I am crying. I was not expecting both Bruno and shmuel to die. I thought it would just be shmuel not that that’s any better but it was still tearjerking. The friendship between the two is wonderful and great to watch. Elsa I did not like in the beginning but she definitely grew on me once she stated how she felt about what was happening to the Jews. I thought this was a wonderful tearjerker. A solid 8.9/10
