imagine this: y/n had a brunch date planned with Ethan. she told her besties shila and jessica about her up coming date. she also told her acquaintance steffany (ugh). Y/n thought her plans were only kept within her circle of people but little did she know her besties and acquaintance had other ideas. as she got ready she kept getting notifications on her phone so she put it on do not disturb and continued to get ready for this date. She was then picked up by Ethan with his red Lamborghini and was taken to a restaurant called “wake up”. As they were driving she had realized that she had left her phone at home, “this is gonna be a long date” she thought. Little does she know she’s in for a whole ride this evening.
As they got situated at their reserved table, ethan and y/n began talking about the economy and munching and crunching on their crepes. They were having an nice evening until a loud noise erupts from the front entrance. Y/n whips her head over her shoulder to see what the commotion is about until she saw him. Freddy. Freddy and her had a complicated relationship. He was republican and she was a democrat. You can see the issue. He begs her everyday to give him a chance but she sticks to her answer of no. After a couple hundreds of no’s from y/n he gave up until he got a text from steffany saying that y/n was going on a date with Ethan. The idea of him crashing their date was prominent in him brain. That idea became reality when he showed up to “wake up”. He spots her and starts to strut over to y/n. To her dismay, Freddy strikes Ethan in the jugular. Y/n is speechless when Ethan starts fighting back. “Are they fighting about me?” She thought.
As the boys continued the fight another commotion breaks out but coming from kitchen. There is a song playing but y/n couldn’t put a finger on it until the she heard who was sing. “My nail tech knows how to keep a little secret”… JACK?!?!? she she screams loudly in her head.. Jack and y/n were on a break since she caught him with this other girl. He tried to apologize but she said they needed space. He couldn’t handle the space any longer once he heard from shila that y/n was going on a date with Ethan. Anger filled him because he doesn’t take L he chucks them up. He is not alone though in this restaurants kitchen. He’s is joined by the ones and only Jack and Jack from Magcon. The Jack cubed. They are trying to help Jack win back y/n. But another pair of voices began prominent, even Jack tried to look around to see who it is. Y/n finally spots the unknown singer. It was bad bunny. Bad bunny had been secretly in love with y/n. But once he found out from Jessica that y/n was going on a date, he couldn’t hold his love for her anymore. He drove straight to the restaurant where y/n was located microphone in hand ready to serenade her into his life. As he arrived there is already another guy trying to serenade her so turns up his boom box and became to sing “un día” with the help of his friend duapeep. Jack heard how loud bad bunny was so he decided to turn his even louder. This all turned into a rap battle between Jack and bad bunny. Though they didn’t understand anything each other was saying.
Through all this commotion y/n had silently snuck out of the restaurant and waved for a taxi. As she was trying take in what just had happen her taxi driver kept talking about his dj life back in college. He kept trying to give her cds of his work and to help get his name out there but her thoughts were somewhere else. When she got home she saw her roommates and gave them a lecture about talking to other people about her. She forgave Jessica and shila for their doing because she enjoyed the singing battle between them secretly but disliked steffany for telling her republican boy toy about the date.
As y/n walked into her room she almost didn’t notice all the roses and the note that said look outside. She was cautious at first until she saw Jack holding a bouquet of flowers in his hand and a bag of gummy bears and sour gummy worms. As she opened the balcony door he immediately went down on his knees a opened a red velvet box with a shiny gold ring in it. But did she say yes? Find out in the next chapter.
