Electric blue lights accompanied seductive chords and rhythms. Purgatory was a haven for the fearful and the care free. Everyone was here for the same reason. To get drunk off their ass and forget about the problems of the outside for just a little while. Shepard sauntered through the main door, clad in a casual leather jacket, grey undershirt and ripped blue jeans. His tangle of sand-gold hair was neatly combed, drawn back over his ears. It almost fell to his shoulders.
Jade optics scoured the bar and dance floor, searching for the reason he was here. He spotted her sitting alone with what looked to be a datapad in hand. It brought a smile to his face. Of all the things she could be doing in a club she was more focused on handling her job. It was one of many changes he'd noticed when he'd seen her protecting the students at the Academy. One of many things that attracted him.
He recalled those early days not so long ago. Back when it was just the two of them against the world. Back before the Reapers had arrived. It wasn't any simpler then than it was now. But what he knew for damn sure was that nothing had changed between them.
He pushed through the crowd, stopping just short of sitting down. The rugged Commander cocked his head at an angle, bearded visage lighting up in a wry smile. "Leave it t'you ta' make reading over intel look sexy." His thick irish accent dripped with each word. His eyes flashed with mirth. "Miss me?"
