Hole Chat Episode 30: Girls Gone Mild
Yoon Sora lives life at the top as the smartest teen in the city. But, as they say, it's lonely up there -- a fact that couldn't be truer for Sora. Doesn't help that she's riddled with anxiety, further keeping her from making friends. When an opportunity arises to finally connect with her peers, her desperation manifests as a bad choice. One that leaves her in need of a boyfriend ASAP. Sora needs help to pull herself out of this hole, and a chance meeting with Woo Haena might be just what she needs to succeed. Chuck and Keelz talk baby queers, teenage embarrassment, and playing yourself, as they chat about 'Sora & Haena' by Jackbull.

had a productive night of reading yuri and read all of sora & haena start to finish and all the extras and ah-young & jae-in and really really liked it all
sora & haena is so sweet and genuine watching sora come out of her shell and come to terms with liking women and them helping eachother and just enjoying eachothers company <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 super heartwarming fluffy but theres still the realistic troubles that come with love
all the extras were nice and enjoyable but ah-young & jae-in hoo boy i saw it listed as just extras like the rest and also as a spin off and its definitely the latter truly the perfect brand of toxic yuri that you kind of dont want to deal with the characters being the way they are but you just cant look away
theyre both so messy and impossible i really dont think there was ever gonna be anyone else for either of them cause who could put up with all that jae-in is so totally correct about ah-young being prideful and narcissistic but if jae-in was like 20% less autistic she couldve at least handled her temper tantrums and unrealistic expectations but she just isnt instead shes so completely incapable of understanding anything to do with love or dating or relationships and most of all she cant understand how or why she feels the way she does and seeing her trying so hard to stay with ah-young despite all that is so sweet and also kind of heartwrenching like with the rings! ah-young is so sure jae-in isnt paying attention to her talking about wanting couple rings but then! jae-in not only finds out her size and gets the rings but gets the exact ones that ah-young was showing her even though she obviously didnt understand and hates changing things about her life like what she wears!!! theyre both mean and kinda spiteful and no one else could date them but goddamn if they arent kinda perfect for eachother

New favorite girl-love stories
For St V’s Day, I decided to make a list of my top-three new favorite girl-love stories I discovered so far this year! All three are from webcomics with terrific art and stories. (Trying to avoid major spoilers, let me know if I fail.)
#3: Sora and Haena from Sora & Haena, by JACKBULL A brand new comic that released just last Thursday, Sora & Haena is a charming little story about Sora, a studious introvert who lies about having a boyfriend in order to make friends with some other girls. Not long after, she meets the boisterous and outgoing Haena, who she begs to help her find a boyfriend. Haena in return asks Sora to help her get into college. But as they spend time together, Sora finds she’d rather spend time with Haena than with boys, while Haena finds she’d rather sit and study with Sora than party with her friends. An all around delightful story that panders to my weaknesses for studious and boisterous girlfriends as well as for tall and tiny girlfriends.
#2: Aruka and Yukimi from Kiss it Goodbye, by Ticcy Kiss it Goodbye is a frame-story told by the leading couple about their childhood friendship and how it evolved to romance. Yukimi is a smart, studious girl who wants to study medicine. Aruka is a rugged, tomboy disaster-child who’s ready to throw fists with anyone or anything that messes with Yukimi---whether other kids or uncooperative arcade machines. Terrific artwork and caters to my aforementioned weakness for studious and boisterous girlfriends.
#1: Marin and Marisa from How to be a Werewolf, by Shawn Lenore A werewolf and a witch, Marin and Marisa are established as a couple before the story begins. Though supporting characters, Marisa tells the story of how they met in chapter 7. Rejected by her family for liking girls, Marin threw herself into her studies in college, getting into a prestigious law school. Though a dedicated student, Marin’s academic career nearly gets cut short by terminal illness. In the hospital, she meets nurse/witch Marisa. After hearing Marin’s story, she does the dumbest, best thing she’s ever done and comes up with a supernatural solution to Marin’s illness. Theirs is an uplifting love story that again caters to my aforementioned penchant for tall and tiny girlfriends. Minor content warning for occasional dark, disturbing imagery.
