sometimes i think about the fact that when i was in middle school, i was obsessed with newsies because i was 11 years old in 2014 and a theatre kid so of course i was and it was to the level where all of my teachers knew i was obsessed with newsies to an unhealthy level but anyways one day my art teacher just randomly decided to drop on me that her son was college roommates with jeremy jordan and that they were still close friends (idk if they still are because this was 11 years ago but i digress) anyways one day i walk into art class and she says to me “i saw jeremy this weekend at a wedding and told him about you, he said hi” and i started fucking crying. a few years later i was at elsie fest and i had bought a meet and greet package with him and i said to him that my old art teacher said she knew him and he immediately went “[insert art teacher’s name]?” and i was like oh my fucking god i actually have a mutual connection with jeremy jordan so now whenever i see that picture or that one video of him and brody, i think about how im technically 3 (2? i can never remember how that works) people away from brody grant 🤩
