The ending is just the beginning repeating
I have finally come to the end of my three year advertising course at uni and I gotta say, I'm so proud of myself. I'm proud of what I've accomplished during these years of my life. Deciding to give up the graphic design dream to pursue a new journey was not a decision I took lightly. I was travelling abroad throughout Europe for three months and it was after speaking about my life to people I met along the way that it sounded to me that being a graphic designer wasn't exciting or fulfilling enough anymore. Well, not in this economy. I didn't like the sound of being a struggling designer with print becoming a nostalgic item for most (which is my preferred medium), so I gathered my thoughts and made my final decision. Within the three years of study, I have produced some amazing pieces of work, made friends with people who I could consider as future partners in the field and it even took me to the USA where I met even more amazing people from around the world and have now made life long friends. It's sad to know that I won't be going back to uni again after mid October. I've always put 100% into my career and I won't be satisfied until I see it paying off, or rather, paying up when I land my first Junior Art Director role in a major agency. - coobZ
