I'm going to be blunt here, but is STFU-moffat on hiatus? Or sort of dead? I know that both DW and Sherlock aren't on-air right now, but I haven't really seen a lot of critiques on Capaldi and the last season.

We’re currently on hiatus. Personally, I’m not too sure I have enough energy to watch a show that I have no interest in and the other mod HAS seen the last season, but is off tumblr at the moment for personal reasons.

I’m incredibly sorry for that. I do want to say that if anyone is interested in helping to take over and has seen the latest episodes and wants to help mod, I will gladly accept the help!

About the Daleks: Doesn't it strike your (or anyone else for that matter) as incredibly un-Dalek that they'd actually try to create more Daleks by using inferior species? Instead of, y'know, EXTERMINATING them on the spot? It's like with the Weeping Angels: People turn a blind eye to the fact that a monster with a very distinct method of operation suddenly behaves out of character. How in the world did they make Clara into a Dalek? How does that even work? It's so stupid!

So basically, the Daleks were keeping their brethren with mental health issues in a psychiatric hospital planet (which admittedly had terrible care, but was similar to psychiatric care here until relatively recently), keeping them alive even though they were no use to Dalek society and, in fact, went against everything the Daleks believed in, but when the Doctor saw this he didn't care what or how much these Daleks could feel, he just killed them all on the spot.

When the Doctor and the Daleks swap places morally, it's a sign your show's continuity is disintegrating before your eyes.
