I'm a bit late in posting this but I was at another rally to protest Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It was held on Sunday March 6th at the Jack Poole Plaza in Vancouver. The speakers had a lot to say. There's even pleas for NATO to impose a no-fly-zone. People from all walks of life and backgrounds attended the rally. Also noticeable were people from the Polish community. Especially since Poland has helped considerably with Ukrainian refugees over this time. Most noticeable at the rally were people holding flags of other nations that were also annexed as part of the Soviet Union, like Georgia, Kazakhstan and Lithuania. I'm sure many fear Putin wants to bring the Soviet Union back and those nations could be next. With the invasion going into it's third week, this won't be the last of it. In fact the recent bombing of a children's hospital in Mariupol shows that more needs to be done.
