💐 Is there anything you all collectively like? Collectively dislike?

We actually share the majority of our interests! We play a lot of similar games, although everyone has their own that they prefer or don't really care about. As a result, we mostly dislike things together as well, although everyone has, again, their own preferences. Food and stuff are generally entirely universal, while movies tend to be more divisive.

🐬 What’s the most common color that appears in your system?

So, we have synesthesia, meaning everyone has a VERY SPECIFIC color that they're associated with, and there's like sixty+ of us, so... hang on, let's count this... and with the subsystems having their own colors, that's....

Red: 11

Brown: 4

Orange: 6

Yellow: 8

Green: 5

Teal: 2

Blue: 18

Purple: 7

Pink: 6

Gray: 3

Black: 1

So, blue! I knew it would be blue or red but I'm surprised by how many yellows there are?

Hey, we just wanted to reach out and let you know that it's been really, REALLY helpful to have a more private, closely moderated space to talk about The Specific Fictional World we'd rather not broadcast our connection with. The fact that it's a community full of diverse people and opinions, but without the risks of just making a public post saying "I'm from [DATA EXPUNGED], an indie project whose creator is active on social media and might see this," is really special and we haven't been able to find that balance elsewhere. (And no, discord servers aren't as good, we're sure you know why.)

We know all those administrative tasks might feel overwhelming sometimes, and we all really appreciate your hard work. It's genuinely done us so much good, so thank you.

Thank you for saying this. Managing the Dreamwidth is an enormous task sometimes, but I'm very glad that it's beneficial for you. :] Discord servers have their place and are nice and all, but they bring a very different feeling to a community and as an old vampire who is frankly alarmed that news without magical intervention travels faster than letter nowadays, I like the slower pace, myself.

People get very nervous about the gentle gating on the Dreamwidth, but it is truly to keep the trolls and miscellaneous wanderers out. Some things are meant to be fully public, and some things you just want your community members to see without having to worry about Tumblr tags or searches pulling you up.

🧼 If you have fictives, what source do you have the most from?

Gazes silently at the hordes of vampires for an uncomfortably long time. Vampire: the Masquerade, easily. If you want to expand it to the whole World of Darkness, there's even more. The Warcraft fictives put up a good fight but they just can't defeat the vampires. Not even close. We have... 31 VTM vampires? For the whole WoD, fictive count jumps to 36. That's over half the system!

We actually share most of our interests, just with varying degrees of intensity. For example, nearly everyone who fronts with any regularity likes playing WoW, but different people prefer different classes and specializations, so we end up with a lot of characters to match different preferences. Similarly, we're mostly annoyed by the same things, especially sensory stuff, as that's mostly due to the autism and the way our nervous system reacts to certain things. (Felt is an awful texture and I'm sorry to everyone who loves it, please stop making me touch it). It's hard to come up with specific stuff because it would mostly just be listing things that frequent fronters all like. It's easier to pick out edge cases of like/dislikes from individuals that don't match the usual!
