How can people not be amazed by artists? How can people not be amazed, when for fun, anyone can pick up a pencil or a paintbrush. They can do a quick sketch, a little doodle, a splatter of color. And boom, now something exists. It may be something “trite”, something that everyone else has done. But it was never this exact thing, on this exact paper, by this hand. How can you not be impressed, when by moving my hands, I am gifting creation to something? I am helping something be born, so that it is not just trapped within my imagination any longer. Now, it has a form. Now, it is alive. Now, everyone can see it for themselves. Having the gift of creation, it’s an amazing thing. You don’t need to be Jackson Polluck or Vincent van Gogh to make something. All you have to do, is create.
