Strength, The Hermit

Strength - something the struggle with:

Ailie often struggles with the feeling that people don’t actually want to be spending time with her. Her insecurities often get the better of her and make her wonder whether they actually want to be there or it’s just politeness leading them to still be talking to her.

The Hermit  favourite way to spend a day alone:

Ideally, she wouldn’t have to spend a day alone - she’d much rather be around people. But she’d do something calm and relaxing. Maybe try out a few new recipes while her favourite songs are playing before settling down with a book or film.

If you had a time machine, what one event would you go back and change?

“I don’t believe in changing anything in my life. It’s made me who I am and I wouldn’t change me.”

“I might be tempted to change things for someone else though.”

What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?

“I think I’d have learnt to use my powers properly sooner. It might have saved me a lot of heartache.”

She loves food. Whether it’s cooking it, tasting it or finding the perfect ingredients for it, Ailie could happily spend her whole day doing it. She sees each new dish as a challenge if she’s cooking it and when tasting something new it’s an experience.

There aren’t many things that Ailie dislikes but she can’t stand people who skip queues or other little acts of rudeness like that. She doesn’t feel that it’s that difficult to just have some common curtsey in the way you go about your day.

HC + children

He’s never seriously considered having any of his own but kids always seem to gravitate to Em. He doesn’t quite know how to deal with them, but he likes some. He likes teaching them things and how happy it makes them when they accomplish something on their own and have to show someone.

Ailie has always been a lover of the more simple things in life, hence why the thought of being famous leaves her a little bit nauseous. Nothing about the lifestyle appeals to her, especially the lack of privacy and she doesn’t envy those who have it but rather pity them for it and admire them for being able to do it in equal measure.

HC + secrets

She may be free and candid with her words most of the time but Ariadne is extremely good at keeping secrets, especially those that affect others. When it comes to her own life and safety she’s pretty free and almost reckless with the information but as soon as it applies to someone she cares about you won’t get a single word about it out of her.
