Sun-Kissed || Jackson and Zora

They had come together in ways that were intensely emotionally intimate. He had kissed her until he was drunk off the taste, and their fingers had wandered against bare skin until their hearts had hammered. Eventually Jackson had taken Zora to bed, but only to talk until their words slurred together, only to kiss and caress her in meaningful but controlled manners. And it wasn’t that he didn’t want to lose himself inside her. He’d be a stupid man to not want that. But this time...with her...he wasn’t in a hurry. They’d only been dating for a month...two, somewhere between there. And he wanted to take his time, he wanted to savor her soul first, to make sure Zora knew that was the most important aspect to him.
Still, he was jealous when he shifted in the bed, when he pulled her frame closer to him and saw that the sun had gotten to kiss her first. It was tangled up in her red hair, setting it aflame, kissing dappled circles along her shoulder. Jackson made a half asleep sound in the back of his throat, fingers running through the strands, his lips kissing at her warm skin until she shifted and those beautiful eyes opened. And god did he smile, arm tightening around her and his lips seeking out hers. “Morning,” he murmured gruffly. “You hungry? I make a mean stack of french toast.”
