My brain rot commentary on the Dread game live performance/livestream with Smosh and Starkid cast members that happened June 7 2025 at the Dynasty Typewriter, with George Primavera, Jon Matteson, Nick Williams, Spencer Agnew, Angela Giarratana, and Mariah Rose Faith Casillas
The setting just being the most random place in Maine lol (but also as someone from New England- NEW ENGLAND REPRESENTATION RAHH)
Angela as Prudence Wall. Iconic. The multiple phones as a prop. The shortest bangs you've ever seen. A ripe 27 years of age.
George: "What does Prudence look like?" Angela: "So I'm in the car" 😂😂
"Somehow she has three collars on, in different ways"
“Prudence you’re kind of breaking up I can’t really hear you that well”
“Sorry, sorry- we’re in the fucking woods, boss”
Spencer introducing Bryan Reader: 'He's like miles away, mentally" lmao
Cut to Mariah introducing Evangeline: "What do you know about a young Evangeline Walker?"
Both Evangeline and Bryan gazing out the window leading to this: “And there’s this old man over there, as a young woman I can’t even gaze over there”
Spencer “I don’t think Bryan has even looked at her” 🤣🤣
Mariah asking what car they’re in and George being like “you’re in a Toyota RAV4” 🤣🤣
So the cast is just in a toyota rav4 making their way to this random ass house🤣
Jon Matteson catching strays before even introducing himself POOR JON
Like the way Mariah just went "EW" during the lead up to Jon's character intro had me wheezing
"Jacky R. Jackerby, a very non-ew guy" 😂😂😂😂
Jacky asking Ulysses the butler if they have any other drinks besides tea and Ulysses unknowingly starting a whole bit with the Dr. Pib
Shot challenge, drink every time someone mentions Dr. Pib for the rest of the game
Lol when Bryan says “I don’t like to think of myself as an influencer- I think of myself as a debunker. I’ve come to debunk this place”
Is bryan just another version of spencer agnew in an alternate universe
Ulysses asking Jacky “WHO HAVE YOU BROUGHT TO THIS HOUSE” 🤣
Jacky: “B-but Grandmama would love these people”
Ulysses: “What is this bright light in my periphery?” Prudence: “It’s a ring light? RING. LIGHT.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
“I’m tearing up quite profusely” “Well that’s on you, so” 🤣
Spencer being Spencer saying: “and Bryan just lifts up his pant leg- I just have this little gun” “It’s like just a little baby six-shooter”
George asking Angela/Prudence: “So who are you on the phone with?” “I’m not, I just keep it here” lol
Spencer just casually being GOATED at jenga
Prudence “I will do it for my client” Wall
“Anything for my client” LOVE HER
But also Prudence “let’s get in and get out” Wall
“These boys, they’re oily and weird” 😂😂
Ulysses and Jacky: “I think everything’s going well so far!” “Yes, everyone loved my Dr. Pib” (honey, you got a big storm coming)
Jacky and Bryan walking across the grounds to the boathouse:
"Do Jacky and Bryan say anything to each other on this like 3-4 minute walk?"
“So, do you game?"
“I used to in college, but that was a long time ago” (it was here that I had to pause to remember Spencer made Bryan like a 40 year old man 🤣)
Jacky: “I hate it here, I really hate it here. I’m just trying to sell this place and get the fuck out” 🤣
NICK WILLIAMS ABSOLUTELY KILLING IT (maybe pun intended?) as the groundskeeper!! Live theater baby!
One of my favorite moments being this:
Prudence on the phone saying “CAESAR WRAP” “CAESAR. WRAP.”
I will now think only of Angela/Prudence's voice when I think of a caesar wrap or see one.
Also Prudence: “Do you have wifi? Can you share the password with me? I haven’t typed in a password organically in years”
Ulysses, after literally saying the password out loud to Prudence: “I just shared the password with you” 🤣
“Fine, I’ll do it on my own. TWO. CAESAR. WRAPS.”
PRUDENCE WALL BEING THAT GIRL and standing up to grab Ulysses by the collar of his shirt (Angela I love your character choices, they are amazing to witness)
But also then George making Angela pull 4 BLOCKS while she was on a phone call was wild
“PRUDENCE IS JUST TRYING TO DO HER JOB” 🤣
Bryan deciding to book it when he and Jacky see all the nasty spiders on the ceiling- HE BOOKED
“And as you book it, gun in hand” (getting two smosh references in one right there lol)
Spencer having to pull 4 blocks for all of that though, lol
But then we cut to Jon/Jacky and George makes him pull and then it's like NOOOOOO JON WE LOVE YOU YOU DID YOUR BEST
Mariah saying “No one’s ever been cooler than Jon Matteson” SO REAL THOUGH (love when the cast hypes each other up)
R.I.P Jacky but lol kinda that Bryan ended up unaliving him indirectly by proxy of his tiny gun
Mariah having Evangeline try to talk to the spiders in the study so she doesn't get unalived
Not Ulysses waking up Prudence from unconsciousness by splashing her in the face with Dr Pib
THE EVIL SOUL OF MOLLY JACKERBY TELLING PRUDENCE TO THEN KILL ULYSSES
"I want you to kill him" "How?" 🤣
“Listen to me you- I don’t know who the fuck I’m talking to” “you girlboss demon” 🤣
Prudence: "What's in it for me?" Molly: "Power, the ability to command my children" Prudence: "Oh I’m not ready for children, I’m 27" 🤣 (so real for that)
AND THEN SHE TRIES TO GET ULYSSES' GUN BUT FAILS AND FALLS INTO THE WELL- NOOO DIVA DOWN
Prudence Wall you will always be loved by me
We were so close to giving yet another character played by Angela a gun
Bryan booking it back to the house but getting interrupted by yet another groundskeeper- also played by Nick 🤣 (Nick playing all the groundskeepers and the relatives was so funny to me)
Bryan finding Evangeline just in time and them escaping from the house and a car pulls up and George describing the sound of the horn "AWOOGA" 🤣
Ulysses telling the spiders to go after the car but he eventually gets unalived by the spiders himself
Bryan's last act before he dies in the car crash scene: "I do the mom move" 😂 (for those who don't know what that is, he puts his arm out in front of Evangeline to brace them for impact basically)
RIP Bryan you'll forever be remembered for the ultimate hero's sacrifice "pulling the mom move"
Nick Williams also just pulling out that bottle and chugging it was a wild moment but I lived for it
Evangeline being the lone survivor, but as she gets out of the car George makes one last pull for her oof lol
SHOUTOUT TO THAT AUDIENCE MEMBER LILY for playing the truck driver who was going to almost unalive Evangeline but pulled the last block AT THE LAST SECOND
Lily I hope you're having an amazing life rn cause that was so iconic (im so sorry if I spelled your name wrong)
Lily, forever immortalized in the smosh and starkid fandoms
And so Evangeline lives, being the final girl- I honestly wasn't expecting Evangeline to be the last one in the end, but I can only imagine after Mariah's final words that Evangeline would write a book about it and do a livestream on the whole thing since she was a booktoker lol
GEORGE SAYING THERE WILL BE ANOTHER DREAD LIVE EXPERIENCE AHHHHHH (gimme gimme) (also would love to see a different lineup but still a mix of smosh and starkid cast)
